For Purple Mountain Majesties

Beach or mountains? Which do you prefer? Why?

I have seen beaches from the north to the south, and east to west but nothing speaks more than the mighty mountains.  Beaches have water, sand and sea gulls, all the same each time, where the mountains hold timbers, animals and more life. They change colors throughout the day and year, I see the same ones everytime and by the dawn’s early light or a fiery red sunset, they stand there at attention.

Cats have routine

What part of your routine do you always try to skip if you can?

I have 3 cats, there’s no routine in my day. They think there’s one, especially when it comes to their treats. They want my attention and will go out of their to get that. So yeah I have no routine. At all.

Name the most expensive personal item you’ve ever purchased (not your home or car).

The most expensive item I have ever purchased was a loaded laptop for myself and another for my wife, spent at least $3000 in 2010, for them both. My second was my Canon 250D/SL3 Digital Camera at $700, 3 years ago. I no longer have my laptops, very outdated and now use my desktop for writing and editing photos. Photography and writing are my hobbies that I would like to take to another level.

I Can’t Grow Up

What does it mean to be a kid at heart?

A kid at heart, is an adult with a youthful heart. In my case, I am 58,going through older adult ailments like a hip replacement recovery and having issues with my shoulder. But in my head, I am younger, with the music I listen to and being addicted to video games.

I still laugh at silly things, a fart will induce a smirk, especially if it’s from me in a car with the windows up.  Lol.

It’s thinking about the childhood you had and wishing you were back there, riding your bikes, playing cowboys and Indians, not caring about the future but living in the moment.

Acting like a child in a toy store, you can’t help but press the buttons on those animated toys. That’s something I have yet to stop doing.  My mind thinks youthful thoughts. And that’s OK.
