A kid at heart, is an adult with a youthful heart. In my case, I am 58,going through older adult ailments like a hip replacement recovery and having issues with my shoulder. But in my head, I am younger, with the music I listen to and being addicted to video games.
I still laugh at silly things, a fart will induce a smirk, especially if it’s from me in a car with the windows up. Lol.
It’s thinking about the childhood you had and wishing you were back there, riding your bikes, playing cowboys and Indians, not caring about the future but living in the moment.
Acting like a child in a toy store, you can’t help but press the buttons on those animated toys. That’s something I have yet to stop doing. My mind thinks youthful thoughts. And that’s OK.
The Alien Enemies Act specifically allows the president to detain, relocate, or deport non-citizens from a country considered an enemy of the U.S. during wartime.
The fine print of the act says the president can only take on this authority once Congress has declared war, and — while the U.S. has been involved in plenty of conflicts over the decades — it hasn’t done so formally since 1942.
The federal government doesn’t have the capacity to identify, track down, round up and remove every single one of the 11 million-plus undocumented immigrants in this country.
One of the primary obstacles is a lack of funding for immigration enforcement, something that lawmakers sought to address in a bipartisan border security bill earlier this year. It would have put $20 billion toward border provisions and implemented several policy changes to adjust and expedite the asylum process.
If Trump were reelected and proceeded to invoke these powers — which he could do unilaterally, unless a majority of the House and Senate were to block him — he would be challenged in court immediately and have a tough time defending his case.
One of the influencers that I follow on social media interviewed some Trump supporters at a rally and the majority didn’t know what the words aske were, so here is breakdown of what they should have known.
Critical Race Theory:
It is an academic concept that is over 40 years old. A social construct, a product of an individuals bias or prejudice. It is the basis of all diversity and inclusion efforts consisting of race and ethnicticty, from the post civil rights era. It shows how to analyze power structures in society despite whatever laws may be in effect.
Fracking:
What is Fracking? Well it is the process that uses high pressure fluids to extract oil/natural gas from deep rock formations in our moving water.
First they drill a well into the rock. Then they insert a casing (steel pipe), fill the space between pipes and rock with cement, pump in fluid, which consists of water, sand and chemical additives. They then extract the resources, the oil/natural gas.
There are also dangers: Water contamination, Air Pollution, and in many cases has induced earthquakes. They need 8.9 acres of land for everything. It is banned in European Union countries such as Germany, France, Spain and Australia. The United States produces 79% gas and 65% of crude oil.
There are many pros and cons to Fracking for instance:
Pros: Alternative to Coal, access to materials, and job creation.
Cons: In demand, risk of earthquakes and air/water pollution.
GDP (Gross National Product):
GDP is the total market value of the goods and services produced by a country’s economy during a specified period of time. The US has the largest economy at $20 Trillion.
Socialism:
It’s an economic system in which major industries are owned by workers rather than by private businesses.
Marxism:
Originated by Karl Marx, who was a was a German-born philosopher, political theorist, economist, historian, sociologist, journalist, and revolutionary socialist. He along with lifelong friend, Friedrich Engels, wrote a pamphlet, called The Communist Manifesto, which led to an economic and political theory that examines the flaws inherent to Capitalism, that ultimately leads to Communism where the working class makes itself the ruling class that destroys the basis for class society. In a Marxist society, no social classes are in conflict, there is no government anymore. Communism rejects the concept of private ownership, mandating that “the people” via the government collectively own and control the production and distribution of all goods.
Deep State:
It is a secret network of nonelected government officials and sometimes private entities (financal and military defense) operating extra legally, to influence and enact government policy. With Trump, the alleged Deep State is working against him and his administration agenda (military, intelligence, government officials who try to secretly manipulate the government).
D.E.I:
Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. It’s policies and programs to promote the representation of different groups of individuals different ages, race, ethnicities, abilities, disabilities, genders, religions, cultures and sexual orientation.
Simple words that they didn’t know, words we learned in school, many thought that they were things that the Democrats were doing, and Trump is trying to fix it. A man, who doesn’t understand the workings of what a Tariff is, do you know?
The corruption in our country, both sides are guilty. Not caring about the people within, taking everything from our rights, again both sides. I think things written for times back then need to be rewritten for things now, there’s such a massive contrast from then to now. The right to bear arms, especially. That was written for muskets, one loaders, not for the assault weapons cowards use. Your penis size shows in how bigger the rifle you hold.
It’s both sides, there are corrupt Democrats and Republicans, but more so the latter, for they fear moving forward. They fear helping the people, the ones who put them there, it’s a power trip for them. All that money they make, taxes they don’t pay, but when your needs are not met and you ask for help, they don’t bat an eye in your direction.
Again you see it in both parties. But in my experience, when I needed help, when a republican was in office, I received no help the way it was intended. Turned down because I didn’t have a copay. Assistance denied because of too much money being made. Misdiagnosed and mistreated because I was gay.
We can’t go into a proper future without bringing everyone who calls The United States home. No homeless, no hunger, and no disrespect to veterans. We must care for the planet first, care for each other, care for the animals and their habitats. We don’t need flying cars, robots, just yet. We’re not ready.
The US has become divided, pointing fingers at everyone else except yourself, that person you see everyday in the mirror, is different in its reflection of self. Who you see yourself as in community and life isn’t the one you see in the mirror. We have two sides, the truth and the lie, there’s not one single person in the world who is perfect. Having all the money, nice homes, cars, living the upscale life doesn’t make you perfect, there’s more lies involved than anything. Hence the corruption that lays within. It is a neverending cycle.
